Prayer doesn't need to be complicated to be powerful. Some of the most effective prayers in Scripture are remarkably simple two-word requests. When prayed with faith through Jesus' authority, prayers like Help Me, Guide Me, Fill Me, Heal Me, Be Healed, Light Be, Be Free, Rise Up, Peace Be, and Be Exalted can move mountains. Faith is essential for effective prayer - praying without faith is futile. God wants to give tangible results, not just religious feelings. Seven power tools make prayer effective: being a child of God, using Jesus' name, humility, faith, pursuing God, making specific petitions, and thanksgiving.
