This Is War (pt2)

Dr. Stephen Marshall

As children of God, we're called to be both royalty and warriors, actively engaging in spiritual warfare rather than living passively. The enemy operates through ideology, deception, and lies, seeking to bring destruction, captivity, and ultimate death to those who remain ignorant of this spiritual reality. Victory isn't automatically applied but must be activated through intentional faith and action.True spiritual warfare requires a balanced approach: confronting brutal facts while maintaining absolute faith in the final outcome. Delusional faith, characterized by purposeless prayers and contradictory beliefs, must be replaced with strategic engagement. This involves daily putting on spiritual armor through prayer and Bible study, and processing challenges through three crucial steps: identifying events, defining their meaning, and responding according to God's truth. The battle requires believers to examine areas of passive acceptance, challenge delusional faith practices, and actively engage in spiritual warfare through God's provided armor. This isn't a calling for select individuals but for every believer, regardless of their position or profession in life. Victory comes through aligning with God's truth and maintaining active faith in His promises.
