Authority // TODAY'S PRAYER 3/11

In honor of You, Father God, we pray for the governing authorities today that exist by Your permission & Your appointment.  Your Word tells us in Romans 13:3 that a legitimate authority sanctioned by You is not a terror to good conduct, but to bad conduct.  So we pray together for governing authorities at the local level, state/provincial levels, & federal level, that all governing authorities now be aligned by Your sovereign appointment.  Father, we acknowledge that doesn’t mean we are ignorant of the fact that evil people do get into office.  Jesus told us in Luke 18 of an unjust judge who had no regard for God or people.  God You repeatedly told us about kings & leaders that You called evil, proud, even lovers of abominations.  So we are not ignorant to think all leadership is sanctioned by You or else the leaders of the day would not have crucified Jesus.  They were called wicked men.  God You are the true judge so we speak a spiritual separation now between the wheat & the chaff.  Winnow the evil out from the divinely sanctioned & have Your way in this country all the way down to the local level.  You don’t tolerate wickedness so neither do we.  Jesus is Lord!  Over this nation, over every leadership position, we declare Jesus is Lord!  Amen, so be it!
