What we believe

MISSION  &  VISION

At Living Room Church (501c3 non profit organization), we believe that God set's people in families.
To empower a world of people with their True Identity through the gospel of God’s Kingdom and biblical wisdom that helps people
LIVE LIFE STRONG!
The VISION is to build LIVING ROOM church fellowships in 1000 communities across the world where people from all walks of life and ages  come together. This looks like circles of friends  all putting God's Kingdom first. When one person gets strong, their home is encouraged, their community around them is lifted, and God's Kingdom principles are exalted. Proverbs 10 says the city is filled with Joy!  Everyone is alone at some point with who they really are, and  we want to bring  strength and clarity to that moment of Truth. We want  to reach people who take God's call on their lives seriously  to RECEIVE – GROW and GIVE the love of God.
We want to  encourage  you with God's message that provide answers that pull out the thorns of wrong thinking and transform belief systems into that genuine trust in God that always leads to a STRONG life filled with HONOR and JOY.Everyone is alone at some point with who they really are, and  we want to bring  strength and clarity to that moment of Truth. We want  to reach people who take God's call on their lives seriously  to RECEIVE – GROW and GIVE the love of God.
"What and who you listen to determines what you believe…what you believe masters your choices, and your choices are the painting of your life."
- Stephen Marshall

WE BELIEVE

1.  In One God, who exists in three Persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things.
(Mark 12:29, John 10:30, Matthew 28:19, Colossians 1:15-17)
2. That the Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man, the only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the blessed Virgin Mary.
(Luke 1:34-35, 1 Timothy 2:5)
 3. Jesus Christ led a sinless life on earth, took all our sins upon Himself, died on the cross, was buried, and on the third day rose up from the dead.  He ascended into heaven where today He is seated at the right hand of God the Father interceding on the behalf of Believers.
 (1 John 3:5, 1 Peter 2:24, Romans 8:34)
4. The Holy Bible is God’s Word, given by inspiration of God, accurate, and the infallible straight edge directing perfectly into all life, faith, hope and love.
 (2 Timothy 3:16)
5.  Sin has separated all of humanity from God, and so we need a personal Savior.  Jesus Christ is the only One qualified to reconcile us back into relationship with God, through His shed blood on the cross. . Salvation is God’s love gift to us all and is available to whoever believes God raised up Jesus from death to life, confessing Him as their Lord and Savior with their mouth.
 (John 14:6, 2 Corinthians 5:21) (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23)(John 3:16, Romans 10:10)
6.  Water baptism is an outward ordinance expressing our testimony that Christ saved us and acknowledging His cleansing power in our life.
(1 Peter 3:21)
7.  In sanctification through God’s Word and the help of the Holy Spirit.
 (2 Thessalonians 2:13, John 15:3)
8. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is for all Believers, and is accompanied by a diversity of spiritual gifts, and evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter and on assignment to help guide us.
(Matthew 3:11, Galatians 5:22-23, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31)(John 14:26)
9 . In divine healing by faith in Jesus Christ, and the stripes He had on His back.  (1 Peter 2:24, James 5:14-15, Luke 6:19)
10. The church is not a building made with hands, but is Jesus’ body of believers, God’s household with Christ as the Head. (Acts 17:24, 1 Corinthians 12:12, Ephesians 1:23-24, Colossians 1:18, Isaiah 66:1-2)
11. Holy Communion is a celebration of Jesus’ death and our affectionate, remembrance of Him.  We should do this as the family of God.
(1 Corinthians 11:23-30)
12. Worshipping God with our voices and instruments is an act of obedience and spiritual protocol for coming into His presence.  (Psalm 100:2, John 4:23)
13. That God’s will is for us to live in Christ, being transformed by the renewing of our mind, and receiving His Kingdom benefits which include His provision, protection, and wisdom for victorious living so we can be a help to others.
(Romans 12:2, 3 John 2, Philippians 4:19, Matthew 6:33)
14. In the resurrection from the dead, immortality, the beautiful eternal Heaven where God reigns, and an eternal punishment prepared for the devil and his angels.  We are to look with hope for the certain return of Jesus Christ as Lord and King, just as He promised.
(1 Corinthians 15:21, Philippians 3:20-21, Matthew 25:41)
(Titus 2:13, Revelation 22:20, Matthew 24:42)
