Sextortion Trap

Heavenly Father, I pray for this dear person whom you love, caught in this extortion scheme. It doesn't make any difference to you, God, that it's what the world calls extortion. God, you hate this scheme that coerces money and bribes out of victims using shame to abuse and bully them.

Right now, they may feel trapped and hopeless, but God, you are able to deliver them. You want to deliver them. I command your light into this darkness. Cover the nakedness and shame of their sin right now. The Bible says that love—love covers a multitude of sins. Father God, cover their shame right now.

According to your word in Isaiah 16:4, bring the extortioner to nothing. Bring justice. Rescue the abused, Lord, and deal with the abuser.

Now, we cast all the care of this worry, shame, and extortion over onto you, Lord. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
