Sexual ID Crisis

It is a great privilege for me to pray with you about the importance of your identity. Let's pray.

Heavenly Father, I bring this irreplaceable, very important person to you. They were created, made, and designed in your holy image. You made them on purpose for your special plans. They are not an accident or just some human statistic—no, they are fearfully and wonderfully made, as your Word says in Psalm 139.

Right now, Father God, I cast down every lie and deception that has ever found its way into their heart and mind. Any lie about their identity, you crush under our feet, oh God of Peace. Jesus said that the truth would make them free, and right now, I release the spirit of truth into their heart.

The only reason the enemy of their life would want to confuse them about their sexuality and their identity is because their destiny is so excellent. The devil knows how much you love them, Father God, so his goal is to distort their beliefs about identity to keep them from the amazing plans of strength, confidence, hope, and destiny that you hold for them.

So, we cast down every evil imagination and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of your original intelligence, God. Be free from deception, my friend, and be free for everlasting life. I speak order into your identity—that you would know who you are in God's love and whose you are in His family.
