Workplace Stress & Worry

God, it's not your will that we carry around stress, worry, and care. We don't function properly under the influence of fear and anxiety. So right now, according to your word in 1 Peter 5, we cast all of this care, worry, and stress over onto you. You are powerful to carry this unbearable weight.

God, you care for this dear loved one who is overwhelmed right now. You don't want them turning to medications and other secret escapes to find very temporary relief—that's a trap. Father God, I ask that you keep this child of yours from any and all evil. Keep them for the great plans that you have for them.

There's nothing wrong with a little healthy tension in life and a challenge, but we all must be able to cast our care upon the Lord. It's essential. So right now, I pray for the courage in this individual to let go, to trust you, and to surrender these important issues into your capable hands.

God, you can do more for them in a minute than they could do by toiling and laboring to solve this problem in a whole lifetime. You will keep them in perfect peace as they keep their mind fixed on you, Father, because they trust in you.

You are trustworthy, God, so help them to trust you, Lord. Be their helper now. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.
