Loneliness Lifeline

You may feel alone, my friend, but God sees you, and He deeply cares for you. Let me pray for you right now.

Father God, you see this dear one whom you love so much. The loneliness they feel is more than they can bear, and this reality reverberates from the inside out. We call on you, Father, for your help. I ask you to comfort your child right now.

Holy Spirit, you are on a mission to be the Great Comforter, bringing encouragement, help, strength, direction, peace, and joy. Lord, would you now flood the very depths of this loved one's life? Flood their heart with the ministry of your comfort.

God, you promised in Hebrews 13:5, saying, "I will not in any way fail you or give you up or leave you without support. I will not, I will not, I will not in any degree leave you helpless or forsake you or let you down or relax my hold on you—assuredly not," says the Lord.

God, we believe your promise, and so we simply command all loneliness to go—be gone. In its place, we receive your love, your joy, and your peace.
